Media Strategist Ryan Holiday to discuss Peter Thiel’s war with Gawker Media and potential impact on First Amendment at National Press Club Headliners Event March 15
Writer and media strategist Ryan Holiday’s latest book, Conspiracy: Peter Thiel, Hulk Hogan, Gawker, and the Anatomy of Intrigue, tells the inside (and bizarre) true story of Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel’s secret – and ultimately successful – plot to destroy Gawker Media. Holiday will share his findings and discuss what he believes the impact of this sordid saga will be on the First Amendment at a National Press Club Headliners Book Event on Thursday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m.
This event will feature a discussion with the author, an audience question-and-answer session, and a book signing. Tickets are $5 for National Press Club members and $10 for the general public. To purchase tickets and copies of the book, please click here.
Books will also be available for purchase at the event. Proceeds from book sales will benefit the non-profit affiliate of the Club, the National Press Club Journalism Institute, so we kindly ask that you leave all outside books and memorabilia at home.
